# Domains In the world of Memoria, a domain can be a varying thing: a concept: the act of sinning, an emotion: love, a core power to the world: time, or even an actionable thing: pestilence. These domains are what the world of Memoria is made up of, the raw power and influence of the world, they give deities and mankind alike power and purpose respectively. While some domains may remain unclaimed, most are under the complete control of memorian deities. In an exact definition, this means that the said deity can harness, manipulate and control the domain(s) they are under with absolute impunity from nobody else able to contest their power level. In addition to this, exertion of mentioned domains is only possible through the bound form of a deity, making them only able to use their domanial powers where they are literally present. However, this does not mean that other gods or memorians cannot use the power of said domains under the control of deities to their own advantage. For example: a god of dreams or even a regular memorian is not unable to be magically adept, however the deity of magic could repress their ability should they wish to attempt to overpower them. When it comes to mankind and the gods, it is to be mentioned that it is literally impossible for a regular memorian to overpower a god. This cannot and never will be able to happen in a typical scenario.
